Listen to the fantastic storytelling voice of Kerry Gibb reading her story, ‘The Dream Within Us‘.

Introduction:

“Good morning, class!” I hear my teacher’s shrill voice say in a tone that means it’s time to give her our full attention. I wonder if that’s a skill they teach them when they’re training, or whether it’s just a voice they’re born with and know they’re destined to put it to good use as a teacher.

“The first thing we’re going to do today is have a little think about what we would like to be when we’re older… what our dreams are,” she continues. “Who’d like to go first?”
